So there it is ... the huge belly. (You can't expect me to include my face on this one: a) it was early morning when taken and b) who wants a face when you can get an eyeful of pregnant belly?)
This week has been a very eventful week in regards to Jane, which is exciting and a bit of a relief for myself seeing as the due date is looming. We had a doctor's appointment, prenatal classes, and vital baby items received (a HUGE thank you to our parents) and purchased.
My favorite of the week was that after my OB had measured, listened to Jane's heart and checked my activity chart (doctor has had me counting Jane's movements) she declared "OK. See you in two weeks." She said other things, but that was classic to me.
We also had our second prenatal class yesterday. Love the class, great information, but I think Lane nailed it when he said it could move faster. I mean, I get that a woman gets cranky during the transition period of labor ... next, please.
So here's our little one from that unexpected sonogram a few weeks ago. The doctor's sonogram machine is not the most high-tech and I made matters worse by taking a picture of a picture ... it's the best I could do (really, I think it's pretty much the same as the hard copy on our fridge):

I love you and your belly full of baby! I'm not pregnant, but I can bet I'm still bigger than you woman! You could still gain some more weight. I wish I could rub your belly. Lane, give her belly a rub for me! I wish I could be there to help throw you a baby shower! I love you tons, Cha chi!
Turkey, huh? It's obvious who the real turkey is.
