First, the car trip there. Two words for you: Awe Some. Driving with Diana and Mom was great. Jane was wonderful and there were lots of funny moments.

As we begin our "necessary" Costco run in Reno

Mom: "We're trying to diplomatically ignore you."
After we got back into the car following the inflating of the car tires, Mom discovered tread marks on both her arms. Laughing, she asked for one of the baby wipes.
Diana: "We're all out of wipes -- you're going to have to slobber on yourself."

Filled with visits to BFF Kallee's, where Jane met her future boyfriend Jordan and played with Kallee's husband, Simon; dinner with Angie at the Cheesecake Factory; visits with Aunt Katie (and Uncle Dave); visits with Great Grandpa and his dog, Mia; and visits with Aunt Kate and cousins Trevor and Austin:

I'm so sad I missed seeing you and Jane! I much rather would have enjoyed dinner at Cheesecake Factory vs. trying to stay awake and sell books in booming Cody, Wyo. ... And then there was the stupid speeding ticket I could have avoided had I stayed home!!
