You'll be happy to know (well, maybe not YOU, but I am), that I contacted the fine people at Ortho/Scotts and they have allayed my fears.
Apparently, when they say it is hazardous to humans and domestic animals, they only mean for about 2 hours after you spread the stuff (when the dust is in the air).
Still, due to Cosmo's undying curiosity, I think I will wait until we (or nature) waters the stuff away.
I feel better now. Don't you?
