On Sunday, my husband blessed Elliot as part of our church's standard. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful blessing, with family to witness the event.
Although a blessing consists of mere minutes in a child's life, it will forever remain with me as one of the most cherished moments in his life.
I'll refrain from waxing eloquent on the spiritual and emotional implications Elliot's blessing has for me and my family and instead wow you with a slew of photos from the day (really, of the minutes before we headed to church). As you can see, two very young children make for interesting fodder in family photos.

Glad to hear it all went well and it's fun to have family to share the occasion with. That outfit Elliott wore is super snazzy, the cap is really cute on him - makes him look like a little man. Giving Lane a little competition for the most handsome Maygren boy.
absolutely adorable pictures so are we thanking Grandpa David for his photographic expertise because these are great. It was a wonderful day and that young Elliot received an incredibly tender blessing from his father. Those are such foundational days for us as mothers. . .glad you found it to be all that and more. It was wonderful to share in the joy.
