Cream

My Little Man is really becoming a little man.
I hear those groans. And the head shaking. I know, he's not really a little man. But he sure is growing fast.
Elliot is 2 months today.
He may not be the night-time sleeper that his sister was (and is), but he is a joy and delight to our little family. He fits like a glove.
He is such a lover and when he stares at me with those adoring blue eyes, I get inexplicably mushy.
He coos and smiles, hits at his play gym toys and watches his big sister with adoration. He also holds his head extremely well and can even lift his head up when lying on his belly. He even sleeps 6 to 8 hour stretches at night.
Elliot is my little chunk. Much more than Jane at this age. They started at the same birth weight, but my boy is speeding past his sister. He is now in the 90th percentile of weight for his age. And he isn't a little shortcakes anymore. Not a giant, but he's not in the 30th percentile for height (70th now).
And I hate saying this, but at 2 months, I'm already ready for him to move to the crib. I'm just not ready to put Jane in a big-girl bed. (And I'm not buying a second crib for Jane to sleep in for a month.) Ah, the dilemmas.

Height: 23 1/2 inches
Weight: 14 pounds, 4 ounces

He is looking so much like Jane! What cute kids! I bet Jane will adjust in a few days to the toddler bed. Whenever I feel like I am not ready to change things with my kids, I am usually surprised that my stress was not even worth it, bc they always adjust quickly.....
