Of late, Jane has been very enthralled with saying her own prayers.
Sometimes she'll finish the sentence, but usually she repeats the word at the end of a phrase.
This is how it went down tonight (and most nights):
Me: Dear Heavenly ...
Jane: ... Fadder
Me: I'm thankful for this ...
Jane: ... night.
Me: I'm thankful for my ...
Jane: ... family.
Me: Please bless Daddy,
Jane: Daddy
Me: Mommy,
Jane: Daddy (Dad: 2 Mom: 0)
Me: Elliot,
Jane: Ewiat
Me: and Cosmo.
Jane: Como.
Me: Please help me to be a good girl tomorrow.
Jane: utter silence
Me: In the name of ...
Jane: ... Esus Christ, Amen.
It's adorable, really. But most nights Daddy gets remembered twice while Mom's left out in the cold.
At least I get that, "I uve you, Momma" as I walk out.

aren't the prayers of children just the most precious?
Absolutely wonderful. . .thanks for sharing. . .priceless
That is ADORABLE! Don't you wish they would stay so sweet and innocent forever? I keep reminding myself to document cute things like this b/c I know that in what will seem like the blink of an eye Autumn & Jane will be a teenagers and they'll be hating us for not letting them stay out late or date boys we don't approve of. :)
