Revelations

I recently became enamoured with Goodreads again.
Sure, I joined the revolution some time ago, but I never updated my status and I remained weak and inefficient at 2 books. For some odd reason, I was renewed with energy over Goodreads yesterday.
I realized, as I poured over books and tried to add the ones I remember having read, I've never read Pride and Prejudice.
Could it be true? I asked myself. Yes, further inspection of my copy revealed a perfectly intact bind to the book.
I've decided to remedy the situation immediately.

I read an article today that listed the Top 10 locations for road rage/distracted driving. California was no where on the list.
Texas, however, had two locations in the Top 10, with Dallas/Ft. Worth topping out at No. 2, only behind New York City. Southern manners, apparently, are left at the door.
I started laughing. I thought of all those ignoramuses who, over the years, have regaled me with stories and criticism for California drivers and their awful roads. Yes, the highways may be busy, but we know how to drive them efficiently and apparently without the rage that others in the nation experience.

My dad predicted Elliot would walk by this Saturday.
He, and others, have suggested that I simply let him crawl on the bark and grass at the park -- he'll walk soon enough, they foretell.
Not so. He spent a good hour happily crawling in bark at the park -- in shorts, no less.
Even his sister joined him by crawling around.
This child is going to torture me long on this point. I can just feel it.

Elliot will walk and yes he may be testing you. But remember, "Nichts ist unmoeglich dem der da glaubt." We sure love you and miss your cute family. Hope all is well in the great state of Texas. It is another beautiful day here in the islands.

You have got some stubborn kiddos! Good luck to you in your endeavors! JK Your parents are the bomb by the way. They were fun to hang out with in Kauai....the only thing that could have made the trip better would have been YOU! Love you!
