Cruella de Vil

There is a villain in our midst.

The same person receives the blame for every injustice and wrong-doing done or otherwise perceived in this home.

No Coco Puffs for breakfast? The Villain did it.

Daddy's already gone for work in the morning, thus cheating Jane and Elliot out of morning time with him? Villain's fault.

A tower of blocks won't stay standing? That Villain and her crafty ways!

Torrential rains prevent an outing to the park? The Villain talked to the sky and made this happen.

Either way, it's always the Villain.

Photographic evidence of the Villain was difficult to obtain.



The best Jane and Elliot could do ... after all, the Villain was threatening them with raisins for snack food (instead of the desired cookies).

She avoids the camera like the Black Plaque.

She's puffy, swollen and largely pregnant (though not end-of-pregnancy large ... because she still has 10 weeks to go).

And speaking of Cruella de Vil, a recent discovery showed us that Jane says "Clara" as "Cruella". No matter how we correct her, it just comes out "Cruella". Which is only super funny to us because one of our most favorite babies in the world is named Clara, as is Jane's very loved Koala (which she named herself ... why not choose a name she could say?).
