His day was filled with wonder and over-the-top exclamations on what his eyes beheld. "Presents!" "A box!" Our personal favorite came when he opened up the present of his new backpack: "A PURSE!" When Lane corrected him, Elliot pushed it aside with an "Oh." (The next day brought far more excitement for the backpack, which he wore for the whole of the morning.)
It was a great day.

Happy Birthday Elliot! I can't believe it's been 3 years. You brought him to my wedding as a newborn. Having had my own child now, thank you for doing that! Loves!
