Pumpkin Heads

Jack O' Lantern carving.
The perfect Family Home Evening Activity.

The must-do activity of the season.

Someone other than Mom actually assisted in the gutting of pumpkins this year! She was VERY serious about the whole thing.

The kids drew (read: dictated) their pumpkin faces. They had very clear images of what they wanted.
Cheerios and rings: Tools to keep this baby happy. Of course, he also needs your undying attention.
Lane and I received strict instructions (since people under the age of 8 were not allowed to wield a knife) on happy and scary pumpkin faces.
Lane was Master Pumpkin Carver this year.
No photo of mine this year. If you really want to see it, go back to the archive. I'm fairly confident I carve the same pumpkin every year.
Thank you, Sleepy Hollow, for giving the kids the idea of a pumpkin head.
No fear at even the thought of the Headless Horseman. These kids.
Of course Dad had to follow suit. Couldn't let the kids know that something like the Headless Horseman scares him silly!
