Definitely not.
Bringing to light another good question (asked by Lane): I can't see my feet anymore, so should I care what they look like while I'm giving birth? Yes. I should. And, good news, it looks like the pedicure is going to be a go ... I have three weeks left and according to my doctor I'm "not doing anything" (this was the report from Monday). So, hooray! Forget that she dropped two weeks ago, looks like a March baby after all.
Oh, and I have had a shower (here in Fairfield ... it was fabulous), but, relying on the excuse that I have pregnancy brain, I forgot my camera. So, as soon as I get those photos, I'll expound with delicious detail.

Did it ever occur to you that your feet *already* have a pedicure? Seriously...look at them...oh, that's right, you can't -- so you have no idea if you have one or not -- and you're relying on your "prego memory" to recall if you had one, which is a horrible thing to rely on -- so all you're going to do is pay $ for somebody to *act* like they're painting your toes when in reality they're not going to do anything and you won't know the difference. Terrible use of funds. If you want to feel "special" or "beautiful" then sit next to Lane for a few minutes and he will undoubtedly shower you with (a) kisses, and (b) compliments as any good husband should. No $ required, yo
Please disregard my brother, who - though he would disagree - knows very little about women. You're about to give birth to a HUMAN BEING who you have labored over and devoted your body to for almost 10 months and labor includes your feet!! You go do whatever makes you feel good. Even though it's hard to get around now, it's hard to get anywhere when you're running on a baby schedule. Enjoy the last few weeks!
Good shot! I might steal it for my next letter to you on birth. Working on that and the cashew turtles :) Yum.
