Interview with a Vampire

Not a vampire in that sense ... in the sense that I've been up all night. Somewhere around 3 a.m. someone decided it would be a good idea to do a training session in my belly. Jane was moving so much I could not sleep at all.

So, you ask, what did you do then?

Me: I got out of bed and began my daily routine. I ate (because I was hungry), made my daily blog rounds, checked the news (a.k.a. people.com ... wasn't I once a journalist who knew the difference between news and gossip?), cleaned the kitchen and picked up the living room.

Hypothetical you: That took you four hours?

Me: No. Since it was technically Wednesday, I began my usual routine of changing the sheets (not where Lane was sleeping), doing towel laundry and cleaning the bathrooms.

Now I feel tired AND crazy ... who does laundry and bathroom cleaning at 4 a.m.? I think I will break with my strict rule of no naps and indulge.

I was also up all night. Sarah's not feeling well and Rog needed his rest for work. However, I'm not feeling like I need a nap quite yet. Maybe this afternoon it will hit me.

I've been suffering from this lack of sleep dilemma, too ... Only mine is likely related to the crappy hide-a-bed I try to sleep on! Haha! I should be more productive when I can't sleep, but instead I toss and turn. UGH!

I was trying to figure out what the heck was that last picture .. a toy of Cosmos? something he drug in from outdoors? Then I saw it. A cat. Eww, yuck (as C would say)

I can imagine you have little control over being up so early. I have done that plenty of times though. There are some days when you will wake up so early with just a few hours of sleep and somehow you feel so refreshed that you feel inspired to be active. Crazy huh?
BTW-I like the little Kitty picture. Too cute!
