Being under a self-imposed home arrest for the last several weeks, I bravely left the safety and comfort of my home (filled with baby-friendly amenities) for a full eight hours. Jane and I went to church, where we spent a full two hours, after which we went to my parents for Easter.
*** Warning: Grammatically incorrect sentence to follow*** Needless to say, we were all super tired after that day (especially Jane, which tragically shows in the lack of a full dress shot -- I'm very sad about that because her dress was ultra cute, sent to her by my fabulous friend Jenn King -- but Jane spent the day in her car seat or asleep on my or Lane's chest).
Here she is ready to go to church, with her Pooh bunny that the Easter Bunny left.
After a very exciting Easter egg hunt (which she pretty much spent asleep on Mom), Jane fell asleep on Daddy.
Soon after, Daddy followed suit.
In the front row, from left to right, we have Lane's egg, Jane's egg and my egg. And I don't think this picture quite does the candy bag justice, but here is Jane's Easter candy haul from my parents' home. Who does the Easter Bunny think is going to eat this candy? Maybe the same person who has the mammoth Easter egg? I won't even let a camera anywhere near me currently, so why so much candy? Still, I'm proud of myself. The old me would have finished off this bag last night. As is, I've only had a small handful of chocolate goodness (that's me patting myself on the back).

Rachel she is so beautiful! And I am so excited, and seriously honored, that she wore my gift on EASTER SUNDAY!! I bet she looked simply adorable!
As for the Easter candy ... honey, you've earned some indulgence!! Along that same line ... my boss at work pointed out her watch today, she informed us that it was her "Push Present." Her gift for pushing out a beautiful baby! Needless to say ... it was a Tag Huer watch with a Pink face (her little girl is 5 months old). I thought that was a pretty cool concept!
Keep the photos coming! I love seeing them! And ... I have a slew of my own coming too since my irresistible niece and nephew are in town! SO MUCH FUN!
Cute photos Rach.
Yeah, I told Steve about the push present idea. He scoffed (we were watching "According to Jim" on the same subject). I told him it was real and he owes me BIG time. 3 babies and no push present? Yeah, there's hell to pay.
