A Healthy Eater?

This was Dr. C's question to me today at Jane's one month appointment. It obviously was tongue-in-cheek on Dr. C's part because he was looking at her chart and chuckling. There's been a solid 2-pound weight gain since our last visit -- yes sir, my baby is a healthy eater.

My darling child now weighs 10 pounds, 6 ounces and is 21 1/2 inches in length. Her skills are on target for a one-month old and everything else about her is perfect. Hooray! Just what an obsessive new mother needed to hear.

I guess you can stop wondering if she's getting enough! 2 pounds plus sleeping through (6+ hours)= a fat healthy, happy baby. Congrats! (make a note of this when you start to doubt again)

this picture of Jane is priceless, the little pink gingham hat and all. . .what a cutie. . .and by your own compulsive admission, sleeping through the night already?. ..whoa, way too easy. . .Lane didn't sleep through the night for months. . .lucky mom you! Gain of two pounds. . .Jane, have you been into the See's Victorian toffee? Grandma Gail? Have you been sharing our stash?

Sounds like feeding is going well, that is always a relief to know for moms. What I want to know is how were the shots? It seems like at the beginning every doctor's appointment they got some new set of shots. Tyler never liked watching them do it, so I always got immunization duty. She looks great.
