Off to Southern California for 2 weeks to celebrate Christmas with Lane's family. I'm super excited about the visit ... not so much about the trip.
You see, my wonderful husband wants to leave at 4 a.m. Four. In the morning. With a pregnant wife and a 9-month-old baby.
So what am I still doing up? Late-night chocolate milk. And I still need to pack.
Oh well. How much sleep do I really get anyway when I'm pregnant?
And I have every good intention to post whilst I'm away, but let's be realistic. It probably won't happen.
In the meantime ... we had a mini-Christmas very late tonight (had to wait for Grandpa to come home) with my parents.
Jane loved opening the gifts. She's a natural ... totally takes after me.

At the risk of sounding redundant, Jane is SO CUTE. She's growing like a weed, and she's really starting to look like a mini person (you know what I mean; a face that will be reflected in her adult self). I can't believe.
I hope you traveled safe. I miss you this Christmas, as I'm dancing with myself (oh, oh, oh-oh), but I hope you're safe and enjoying the in-laws!

so glad Santa's sleigh was able to deliver you safely to Camarillo for the holidays. . .we loved having you with us. . . and the 'scooter' Jane was so wonderful to have close by. . .thanks for sharing with us. . .it was great
