Mom

I ruminated for some time about what I could say in this post.
But truly, words fail me.
There are no adequate words to describe what my mom means to me and how much she has done for me. She has shared in every major -- and minor -- event in my life.
Whether I blunder or triumph, she stands by me, never passing judgement when surely the situation lends itself to such.
Next to Lane, she knows more about me than any other person on this earth. Next to my husband, she is the first person I call.
She is my best friend. She is who I most want to be when I grow up.
Best of all, she taught me, through word and deed, about the truly joyful and divine calling of motherhood.

Cute Rach! But I'm just pleased to finally see a picture of you on your blog. Rumor has it you won't post anything of yourself while pregnant. Come on! I want to see your belly :)

K, I had to say something because it appears as though you are locking little children in the basement. All I could focus on was that poor little girl behind bars on the right. LOL~!
