Almost. Not quite.Jane went swimming for the first time this Friday. She was just too cute in her new little suit (thanks Grammie!) to not mention it with a photo post.
She was less than thrilled about it in the beginning. Luckily, her mama stayed planted in her aunt and cousins' pool for a solid 3 hours, so she had plenty of time to acclimate.
I'm sure she'll be used to the pool -- even before her darling brother makes his debut (for those counting, alright maybe that's just me, we're under a month now) -- because this 9-month-pregnant belly is not exactly a cooling factor in Texas humidity and heat.
For any of you wondering, I make a daring fashion statement in my husband's swim trunks and a maternity t-shirt. Yes, I'm too cheap to buy a maternity suit for 1 month. And no, there will never be any photos of that ensemble.

As soon as I finish this cloths (today I hope) your package it off with a suit in it!
Jane looks SOOOO cute!
Oh my.....I can't even fathom being eight months pregnant and enduring heat AND humidity! I have done eight months pregnant with heat and that about did me in. And, btw, I am in the cheapy cheap club too. I freak out when my sisters start getting rid of the shirts they don't wear anymore and I go shopping in their DI piles! I love it!
No, you're not the only one counting! I've been getting excited recently when I see the David "countdown" on your blog. Only 23 more days to go! I'm so excited for you. Try to stay cool (I can't imagine what its like in that heat at 9 months. I was wearing my summer maternity clothes inside at the end of December right before Gavin was born. For once, Keelan and I agreed about not using the heaters in the winter!).
I can hardly believe that you are about to have your second lil' one. I am very excited for you. I can hardly wait to see pictures. We miss you all so much! I hope Texas is treating you really good b/c you deserve that. XOXO
