3 Months

Last week, my Little Man hit the 3-month-old mark.
This child is my little love. The only hitch (if you can call it that)? While I know pre-Elliot posts pinned away for a baby to take after Lane, I apparently am knee-deep in karma for my childhood. When he cries (albeit, not often), he is just like his sister. His crying is large and in-charge. He gets a splotchy forehead and quivering lip -- just like Jane. Anyone who has heard Jane: Imagine two of her. That's what I now have.

But he sleeps! Mercy, does he sleep! (This must be my reward for earth-shattering loud criers.) For more than a month now, he has slept 10 to 12 hours a night. Mostly 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Heaven!
He is my little lover. He "talks" and laughs all day long. He smiles anytime he looks at Lane, Jane or me. He cries if he has not joined the family at dinner time. And to him, I am the sun, moon and stars.
He was the missing piece to our family.

Did I not say two months? I am so happy that it has gotten easier for you.....sleep-wise. He looks so much like Jane but his coloring is all different! Genetics, huh?! He is adorable! I wish I could meet them, you are so far away.....

He is so cute! And I think he looks like Lane. At least the eyes so far.

Beware of the quivering lip! How wonderful to have such a champion sleeper and one who is so in love with his family. Those first smiles and coos are so precious. Kelsey and Elliot should get together for a coofest.Enjoy those cutie pies!

What a happy post! I love it :) He is so cute. And how awesome that he sleeps so long. Here's hoping that Lydia takes a page out of that book by that age as well :)
