According to Facebook.
Yes, I finally joined the movement. I mean, my parents are on Facebook. Even my grandma is on Facebook.
Curiosity finally got the better of me, but I think this will be more of a Curiosity-Killed-the-Cat case.
You see, I like to think of myself as a Luddite, but this status is hurting me in the Facebook arena.
A) Apparently you need a cell phone to verify that you are a real person on Facebook (this also allows you to not verify everything with those word things).
I guess I'm not a real person because I don't have a cell phone. This makes everything I do on Facebook take 10 times longer.
B) Being a Luddite-wannabe, I have no idea how to utilize Facebook.
I look at others posts, how they posted on my "wall" (what is this?) and I have no idea how to reciprocate. I need someone to give me a Facebook tutorial.
C) I think Facebook is supposed to make you feel cool.
This is working in the opposite for me.
It feels like high school all over again.
We'll see how long this Facebook fad lasts.

RACH!!!, okay, you got me... your kids are AMAZING!!!! I love you. Good to see you on here, I'll have to check it more. Love, Lezlie
Am I supposed to know what a Luddite is?
I would totally be up for giving you a Facebook (FB) tutorial! But beware, as I'm sure you've heard, Facebook can suck you in and you will find yourself giving up VALUABLE sleep time to see what your friends from 2nd grade that you haven't seen or heard from in 20 years ended up naming their kids!
Mom: (from Merriam Webster) Luddite: "one of a group of early 19th century English workmen destroying laborsaving machinery as a protest; broadly : one who is opposed to especially technological change"
I think I am now officially the last person not on facebook since you've also joined in. I don't know why I haven't... like you, everyone in my family is one it (parents etc) but I just can't commit myself. I don't want to get sucked in. It took me a while to get on the blogging world because I knew it would take up my time, and I was right. Can I really give in to Facebook too???
