Little Man

Can you see that nice, runny nose? And I still love kissin' that face.

People, seeing Elliot for the first time, are always commenting to me how their baby/niece/friend was also a baldy for the first year of his/her life.

Eh?

If Elliot was hairless, I'd be the first out there admitting it. I fully expected my babies to be hairless, as I was as a baby. But Jane wasn't and Elliot isn't.

He's got A LOT of hair. Just as much as Jane did. But his is blonde. Really, really blonde.

Which is why Elliot got his first haircut last night. Like a real Little Man.

I was tired of the fly-aways, the mullet and the hair over his ears. He can cut his hair the way he wants when he's out of my house, but until then, it'll be a nice, clean cut.

You probably can't see it, but do you see his hair sticking up? Particularly on the right side?

That's a little less than half of the hair. The rest was on me.

Lane cut the hair. He started with the 1 guard on my baby's head. I panicked and said that was far too short, so he graduated to a 2 for the top.

I think he looks like a baby just getting his hair now.

But he's my Little Man.

I love the crazy baby hair. They start looking like mad scientists at this age, echoing their increasing quirks and personality.

But I also like what you've done. He looks like a little boy with his "graduated" cut.
