Punkin Selection

Today, officially (since, apparently, the Halloween Advent Calendar is LAW in these parts) is the day for pumpkin selection.

However, as previously mentioned, I broke rank and couldn't resist my children's eager faces for pumpkins at Saturday's hayride.

Several times a day for the past two days, Jane has taken the pumpkins off the buffet and ceremoniously handed Elliot's his and run away with hers declaring "this my punkin."

We did venture out to select the perfect white pumpkin this afternoon, so I could execute my Pottery Barn-stolen ideas on it. After a little heartache, I found it hidden in the hay at the grocery store.

And now I want more.
