I Am Shamed

My BFF, Kallee, has a private blog.

You all know what that means.

It means that posts are infrequent. I don't know if it's that they don't feel the shame of never seeing their name in the Top 5 of your blog roll, but for some reason private bloggers blog less frequently than the rest of the Blog World.

Up until recently, Kallee's most recent post was in May of 2010. And it's not like she didn't have things to blog about -- she did. But you'll have to get permission to her blog to find out about that stuff.

The point is, she's been blogging again. I love it. I get to see her ever-growing babies (children have that weird tendency to grow-up) and I get to read her wit and pithy comments.

And now I feel shame. For those of you who count, my last blog entry was March 31. Kallee's posted 4 times to my 1.

Shame, shame, know your name.

And while I currently have nothing witty or pithy to say (do I ever?), I'll go ahead and post. Because heaven knows I need the validation of being in the Top 5 of friends and families blog rolls.

As long as I'm posting, I might as well tell you that every time I turn around Jane looks older and more mature. She's 3. This better slow down or I'm going to have a stroke.

She, apparently, thinks she's even bigger than even I imagine her:
And because you can't turn on the camera without this Ham sticking his mug in the lens:

ham or no ham. . .really cute and how great to have such a positive self image as Jane that she imagines herself fitting the 'shoes' of the great ones. . . hoping you will all happily survive the wonderful drive together. . .see you in Utah. .

I love reading your blogs. I feel like I'm in touch with you and your family. I know you aren't fishing, (you aren't, are you?), but your blogs are insightful and witty with your own special perspectives.

Let me say, Rachel, you have done a great job with your two babies, literally two babies. They always look clean, well-fed, and happy, cause I know that alot of shots are candid. Don't be so hard on yourself! You're doing super!

I'd like to point out that I shamed you only after you repeatedly shamed me for my lack of blogging. So actually, you shamed yourself. This shame thing is unusual for us. Usually we justify each other in our vices (i.e., eating out every day for two years straight). P.S. I associate wit and pith way more with your posts, but I'm flattered.

You are in our top 5 for sure. I wish I had more time to update ours sorry it will happen soon, we seem to only do it when big things happen.
