My Summer Wish

Dear Powers That Be,

I would very much like to get through the rest of the summer without having to call 911 again.

Please don't put my babies in any more situations where their lips turn blue and their faces chalky white. That's no fun for anyone.

Also, if you don't mind, let's curtail the kids hanging from the curtains and blinds. I'm 99.5 to 100 percent sure this is going to result in a 911 call.

One more thing, will you please put a little fear into their tiny souls about swimming pools? This guns-blazing attitudes they've adopted is a little frightening for this mom -- even when they're wearing their life vests.
