In all reality, when I made the calendar last year, I put bigger activities (such as hayrides and sugar-cookie making) onto the weekends.
I was a little too lazy to switch around the tags this year, so I simply swapped the Day 4 and Day 5's activities. (Day 4 being hayride and Day 5 being "sing Halloween songs").
It's a good thing, too.
Initially I switched the activities because, as a part of our religious beliefs, we try not to spend money/work/cause others to work on the Sabbath. And then last night, Jane started to get really, really sick.
This morning, Elliot and I woke up with the beginnings of Jane's illness.
Of course, I discovered my video camera was dead once the dance party started, so I went with the old camera stand-by.
A few things about the children's clothes: A) Yes, Jane is wearing 2T pants when, in fact, she wears 4T; B) Elliot is wearing a t-shirt from last year when he was, in fact, 6 inches shorter and about 8 pounds lighter; C) and, yes, Elliot is wearing Jane's pants. But I think he pulls off the fitted-pants, bare-midriff look.
Oh, and p.s., the kids dance like Frankenstein to "Monster Mash". I love it!

Love the clothes comments. I need to bring you dinner it sounds like!
Wow you are so organized to have the activities for the month all planned out! I wish I was like that. And those tags are so adorable!!! And BTW I'm not one to judge about clothes. I am out of girl clothes for Ellie and I just might get out the boy stuff instead of buying her girl things when I have no extra money.
