The Four Main Food Groups

Which we all know is: Candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.

In other words: Sugar. Mmm.

Saturday was Sugar Cookie Day. (I feel like I'm capitalizing an awful lot here.)

This is my favorite day. Mostly because I like to go into a diabetic comma with my favorite cookie.

Mmm, sugar! Even dieting, I am more the willing to blow every allowance on the massive sugar cookie with icing and (what appears to be) and entire bag of M&Ms.

The kids enjoyed it too.

She took the dough rolling very seriously.

He was super keen on the ghosts this year. I think we made about 20!

And she's all about cats. In fact, she's been carrying around a construction-paper cat from preschool that she's named Stella Luna.

Obviously.

In other matters, I feel like something of an evil genius. If anyone is looking to make the advent calendar, here is what I discovered: Laminate the different activities and then attach them with Velcro to the back of the ornaments. In the following years, as Halloween falls at different points of the week, it's easier to move around the activities to accommodate schedules.
