The Problem with being Tone Deaf

It makes Day 4's activity a bit of a creative challenge for me.

Monday was our day to "sing Halloween songs".

Luckily for me, Jane's preschool has been teaching her loads of Halloween songs this year. And she LOVES singing (she gets it from her Daddy).

She sang to the boys.

Owen particularly loves her song about the old woman who lives by a graveyard.
He laughs and laughs and laughs when Jane gets to the end and yells "BOO!"
Then we played "Monster Mash" 5,000 times on YouTube.
This is how he looked the entire time "Monster Mash" played. He was fairly concerned, which was super funny since he usually sings along to every song.

But most importantly, last night, we celebrated Lane's birthday.

Blowing out the candle. It took him quite a few tries to get the one out. The kids thought it was pretty funny that Daddy seemingly had a girlfriend.
He was given tickets to the BYU/Notre Dame game for his birthday and I gave him the plane ticket to Chicago for the event, so he was gone on his actual birthday, but the kids and I were keen on making his day special the moment he came back.

And, as a side note, here's what my sweet children were doing while I was putting their baby brother down for nap Monday:
Never underestimate the power of a library book. Would that they could always get along this sweetly!
