Last week, my adorable nephew made a profound comment about Jack in the Box Oreo shakes. He explained a theory basically saying the shakes are heaven ... Jack in the Box Heaven (to see the full conversation, go to Julia's blog http://thesmithsfunnyfarm.blogspot.com/2007/10/chocolate-heaven.html).
Since my nephew's deep comment, I could not get the shakes out of my head. So when Lane and I needed to get something to eat whilst in San Jose, I suggested Jack in the Box, fully intending to get my delicious Oreo shake. However, as I approached the register, marketing techniques took hold of my heart as I saw a sign declaring "Back for a limited time ONLY: Andes mint shakes." As a consumer, I was sold. I ordered an Andes mint shake and I do not regret my decision. It was worthy of Jack in the Box Heaven.
