That's where we were this weekend, Camarillo, visiting Lane's family.
It was a good trip. But it was really short ... we were only there Saturday and Sunday.
We arrived Saturday morning and went to a Kings game that evening (of course). Here is the family before the game. Donna did a better job at taking the photo, but I had to edit myself out for aesthetic reasons (if not vain ones), so I had to chop Lane up a little.
It really was a good game (for the last 9 minutes). The Kings were losing 4 to 0 with 9 minutes left in the last period when they came back to win it in overtime 6-4. Needless to say, Lane was super excited. In fact, his exact words were: "This is the best night of my life." Following my hurt looks, he tried to recant and qualify the statement, but I know what was said.
The next day we went to our new nephew's blessing and then to a lunch with some amazing cake and potato salad.
After that, it was home again to the Christmas house were everything was status quo.

FuN... but I will say I would choose that amzing chocolate pie over the game any day
Where'd Rachel go? I swear you and little Janie were in that picture last time I checked...Janie doesn't like being cut out of pictures Rach...your babymaker looks cute - no need for editing next time!
