Obsessions

Tori challenged me to list my obsessions. Umm ... this could take centuries to list because I am a hyper-obsessive person. Of course, some of my obsessions are worry obsessions. Since they're all obsessions, I'll mix it up. And I'm only naming a few (in no particular order):

  1. When in a multi-storied home, that one of the upper floors will collapse on the other (this is perhaps my earliest obsession ... been there since I was 7 and worried about the attic ... my mom can attest to many late night wakings with my worry/obsession)
  2. Chocolate
  3. My eternal love, my husband
  4. My unbelievably adorable baby
  5. Blogging, and getting comments on blogging
  6. Getting to the gym in the morning
  7. That the stove is on in the middle of the night
  8. Constantly reading a good book
  9. Reading to my baby ... helping her grow mentally, physically and spiritually

And to end the list, which could go on and on:

10. I have an obsession with obsession.

Enough said.

Since you listed it as an obsession, I will indulge (as I often do): here's a comment. You were right about only listing a few; what about flat tires that will suddenly blow out? Lots of experience with that one. (Flashback of me sticking my head out the window to check, while you simultaneously roll UP the window out of which my head is sticking.)

Kate ... sad thing, I've done that to you AND Tara. Maybe even Diana. And I don't mean just the flat tire obsession ... that's happened multiple times. I mean making someone stick their head out the window and then forgetting about their head and rolling up the window.

The stove made me laugh because I actually on leave it on sometimes. I also obsess about candles (whether or not I blow them out) and the iron (did I unplu it?). You and I are so much alike.
