By definition, no. But it sounds more dramatic when I declare "I so covet my Dyson."
Months ago, I regaled you all with a tale of sorrow over my broken wonder-of-a-vacuum, my hand-me-down Eureka.
I received wonderful suggestions on new vacuums and then I never said a word. Have you been sitting there these last 3 months thinking I had yet to vacuum my home?
Probably not.
But, rest assured, I have been vacuuming. In fact, I vacuum every single day. I vacuum with my Dyson, with the swivel ball technology.

I wrestled with the decision to get a Dyson. I didn't want to spend the additional money and get a vacuum that works just as well as one that costs less than half of the Dyson.
But, in the end, I followed the advice of my mother, who said she'd get any cleaning tool that came recommended from my Aunt Laura.
I also followed the lead of my husband, who made an executive decision and purchased it one day at work after I had waffled for a week.
And I have to say, I am so glad we got it. When I watched my sister's children for a week, I used her Eureka Boss, which vacuums fabulously and was the lead in my vacuum-making choices. When we lived with my mom, I used her central vacuum system -- which also vacuums wonderfully.
Yet, the Dyson gets more. It really does. Granted, I have not used the two other vacuums on this specific floor, but when I finish my morning vacuum there is no evidence that my dog, who sheds like a mohair sweater in summer, lives in this home.
And, really, that's what my compulsive nature needed.
Here's what my children do while I vacuum:

She'd just woken up and her hair is pinned back because it quite literally stands straight up in the morning.

I'm glad you went with the Dyson. I couldn't be happier with mine!
absolutely beautiful pictures of these adorable children. . . thanks for posting these. . .I applaud Lane for his encouragement of the sleep. . .it is just about the only way to figure it out. . .there are some great shortcuts to the cleaning too, to make it "seem" shiny and all in place. . . enjoy every minute, they do grow so quickly. . .
