A Boy

It's a boy.

Four months too late? Did I already tell you this?

I love my boy. It's so different than my girl. I find myself shocked and amazed at how utterly obsessed I can be with both my children simultaneously.

And is it odd? Ironic? I find myself spending more time sitting and watching my babies more with two than I ever did with one.

Not that I have more time. I suppose I just make more time.

But they make it easy. Elliot remains content watching his favorite show: The Jane Show.
watching Jane

She IS a whirlwind of activity, so I don't know why anyone would want to watch anything else.

Can you see the evidence of her activity? She's currently marred with marks: Chin, under her nose, on both her temples and above her right eye.

Such adorable pictures. . .and the battle scars on Jane are too cute. . don't you just love busy, intelligent children who are discovering and delighted by life and all they can investigate and experience? You know there is a definite correlation between the curiosity and busy investigator and intelligence. . .just ask me. . .all of our children were totally immersed investigative children and just look at their brilliance!!!! (now is that a mother's perspective or what?) Thanks for sharing, they are so cute.

The bruises and scars will just get more interesting as time goes on. Especially when they work together!

Oh, he is adorable. I can't wait to kiss those cheeks until he screams uncle! (or aunt!)

Your presence in my home is requested immediately (or within the next 3 months).
