Someone please tell me how this baby:
I'm confused. Eighteen months. One and a half years. And, for the record, my OB couldn't believe it either when I went in for my annual (although, she could have just been pandering to a bewildered mother). In Mormon terms, this means my little Goose (so named because he always has goose eggs on his forehead) started nursery this past Sunday.

For more than 2 1/2 years, Lane and I have not had a simultaneous quiet moment during church. Sunday, relief for both of us came in the form of 45 minutes -- for 45 minutes into the block, my little boy started screaming loud enough for the entire building to hear and thus, nursery effectively ended for the day.
Still, my stinker is my joy. He may cry a lot, but boy howdy, how that boy makes it up with his snuggles.
He may not be as verbose as his sister, but he can chat it up with the best of them on the phone ("Hewoo? Ow oo oing? Byebye. Byebye" click.). He has more words, but my favorite is "ank oo" (thank you) which is bestowed most kindly every time you give him something. He also started saying "ease" (please) and "orry" (sorry). This child has manners, I tell you.
He's also silly. Really silly. He makes jokes and thinks he is just the funniest thing since Johnny Carson.
He loves telling everyone "no, no, no" and he loves to show his independence. He loves hats, cars, balls, dogs, loud noises, dinosaurs, trains and purses (or, as Lane calls it, a "European shoulder bag"). He loves Jane and adores Lane, but in the end, this little blondie is a Mama's boy.
Weight: 26.4 pounds
Height: 32 3/4 inches
I think I'll keep him.

So darling! I LOVE my little boy. I was surprised how much I just adore having a boy! Calvin is a momma's boy too, and I have to say...I love it!
Sorry that the first week of nursery was a bust! Glad you just let him cry for a bit, he had to get used to it. Going to Sunday school alone is the best! (who would have thought I would say that?!?!)
He is adorable! And wahoo for starting nursery :) I've been careful not to wish away any part of Lydia's life by getting too excited for stages around the corner... except I will be thrilled when it's time to start nursery :)
He is so so very cute. I bet he tastes like chocolate. :O) I don't know how Jane was in nursery, but both of my kids that have been in nursery so far took a few months to adjust. I like to think they just LOVE me SO much it is hard to be away from me. Heh.
