Cabin Fever

We've been trapped in our home for three days. Not literally trapped, but there is insurmountable ice covering the roadways (perhaps you've read about it in the news?) and I haven't been too keyed up to go driving on it with cities who don't have the equipment to handle this type of weather and drivers who are idiots. Not to mention that when I did go out yesterday, I almost fell on my rear 6 times traversing the parking lot -- I don't even want to think what it would be like while carrying two toddlers who don't want to be carried (since I doubt their precarious walking skills on thick ice).
So we've stayed indoors since Monday evening.
Needless to say, we've watched too much Dinosaur Train and I've blown my diet.
We've got to get out of this house.

Hey, Rachel,
Take you kitchen chairs, put a sheet over it and make a tent, put your kids in there with cereal snacks + some choc chips + toys. How long would that keep them interested?

Good Luck. I hear snow is coming too. Nothing better than snow on top of the ice so now you can't see it.

We have cabin fever too, except we are sick here. I am going a little bonkers and I am super cranky.....my poor children. By the way, Lizzie has the same outfit Jane has on! We are like our mother's!

Oh, your children take such cute pictures, even when they are bored.
