Day 7

Well, illness and a surprise resurgence of morning sickness forced my hand this morning.

What should have been a trip to the pumpkin patch (again, but this time to specifically get pumpkins as designated on Day 7) became another day swap.

I gave the kids two options to switch for the days and Jane selected for them both.

"Watch 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow'". My favorite Halloween movie as a child. (Now my heart belongs to "Hocus Pocus".)

Daddy popped the popcorn for the event

and Jane and Elliot got an additional treat of M&Ms with their popcorn.

They loved it. Neither got scared, either.

Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that I skip the scene the minute the Headless Horseman appears on screen.

Hey. They are 2 and 3. That movie even scares my 34-year-old.

OK, the more I read these adorable posts the more I am perplexed as to how you have time to do all these fun things! I feel like I have good intentions to fit things like this in more frequently but between my schedule, Derek's and Lydia's I come up short more often than I'd like.
If you have a secret, you must share! :)
